Godachinmalki Falls – Belgaum trip
Date – 17/02/2018
Location
Day 1 – 17/02/2018
Godachinmalki falls is in village Godachinmalki, near Gokak. After visiting Gokak falls, Godachinmalki falls was next on the list. It was around 4 pm and there was no buses to this falls now. But there are few “luxury” vans which operate on this route and go towards Pachhapur. We got into one such Van and got down at Godachinmalki. We then walked for another half an hour to reach the falls. This falls is beautiful and water falls in step formation. But the water here did not seem very clean. We went to the front of the falls and clicked few pics. Then we went to the top of the falls. We also crossed the stream and went to the other side to click some pics. After spending some time here, we started walking back to the main road.
It was around 6:30 pm and the sun was setting in the distance. The sunset at this village is beautiful. We took a lot of pics of the setting sun.
We had missed the 6:30 pm van to Pachhapur, so we got a lift from lorry to go towards Konnur. Thanked the driver and got down at the crossing and caught a van to the Konnur railway station. We caught the 7:30 pm passenger train to go back to Belgaum. We had our dinner and got back to our lodge for the night.
